Thanksgiving (USA)

Where is Maggie's Flowers located?

Maggie's Flowers is located in Lowell, AR.

I have a few questions, how can I contact Maggie's Flowers?
If you have questions regarding the details of your order, delivery, or other needs, please feel free to contact Maggie's Flowers at (888) 903-7475. One of our shop employees would be glad to assist you.

Schedule delivery now so you don't have to worry later.
Stay ahead of the game and order your flowers ahead of time. The sooner you place your order, the better chances you have to secure your specific flowers and delivery date. Ordering online is easy. Explore your options on our Thanksgiving florals page, select the flowers you want, provide additional information, set your delivery date, and pay. You will be able to provide any card messages if you are gifting flowers this season and also offer additional delivery instructions.

The later you place your order, the more risk the possibility of supplies running low and flowers being substituted. This can be avoided by ordering in advance to receive the flowers you desire. During order-heavy periods, such as Thanksgiving, specific flower supplies can run low or go out of stock. As the shop waits for the ability to restock, the timing of fresh flowers being shipped into the store can be unpredictable.

Save yourself the concern and give yourself the gift of assurance this Thanksgiving season by ordering your flowers sooner rather than later.

Christmas

How do I take care of the flowers I ordered?

Once you have received your flowers for Christmas, you would like to preserve their beauty as long as possible. Below we have provided fresh flower care tips to help guide you.

First things first
Remove the plastic that may have been wrapping your flowers. Once the plastic wrapping is removed, your flowers will be able to breathe. Next, fill a vase with fresh water for your flowers.

Where you place your flowers can make a difference
Extreme temperatures can be harmful to the delicacy of your flowers. Do your best to avoid placing them in areas they will be too hot. This could include windowsills, direct sunlight all day, or an overly hot room. This can cause your flowers to wilt or dry out more quickly. Most flowers thrive best in cooler and more controlled conditions.

Ethylene gas can damage the lifespan of your flowers. So it is important to avoid placing your flowers near any fruit or in the line of cigarette smoke.

Maintaining a beautiful presentation
Periodically tend to your flowers to help preserve their beauty.

  • For vase arrangements, provide your flowers with fresh water. Your flowers will drink the water they need to provide themselves with proper hydration.
  • For basket arrangements, we recommend providing your flowers with daily fresh water.
  • When the water in your vase becomes cloudy, clean out your vase thoroughly with soap and water and then refill it with fresh water. Using soapy water to clean your vase will remove any bacteria that could cause your flowers to deteriorate more quickly.
  • For any wilting leaves or stems, remove the strongly wilted contents to help maintain your beautiful display.
  • Using a sharp knife, cut your stems at an angle one to two inches from the bottom of the stem. A fresh open stem will help your flowers absorb water for hydration. We recommend that you avoid using scissors to cut your flowers. Scissors can crush the stems and prevent the flowers from being able to absorb the water.

Behind every flower, there is a special meaning. That’s what makes floral arrangements so memorable. Everything is intentional and lets you send messages through fresh flowers.

Traditional Flowers For Grandparent's Day

  • Lilies symbolize devotion and true love, words that go hand-in-hand with grandparents. Show them how deep your love is by adding lilies to your floral display.
  • Roses speak not only with their beauty but with their colors, making them an excellent choice to send to your grandparents. Pink symbolizes admiration and appreciation, while red represents love. By combining the two, you show not only your love and appreciation but also acknowledge the love they have for you.
  • Other flowers include gardenias, hydrangeas, amaryllis, and gerberas, which make beautiful additions to any arrangement. Flowers like these represent perseverance, joy, elegance, and determination, an excellent addition to your bouquet.

Look through our flower arrangements or select a designer’s choice, and we will work together to create the most beautiful arrangements that will put a smile on their face. We can also create gift baskets to add an extra bit of sweetness to any gift. No matter what you select, your grandparents will love them and feel special on the day that honors them.
